The so-called Jardinets de Gràcia (little gardens of Grácia) lies at the end of Passeig de Grácia, after crossing Avenida Diagonal. Immediately across from them sits the Casa Fuster, one of the buildings designed by architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. Currently, the Casa Fuster houses as a five-star hotel. Recently, the building was declared a hotel-monument.
Lluís Domènech i Montaner was responsible for a number of exceptional architectural achievements in the city. His body of work includes buildings such as the Palau de la Música Catalana (Catalonian Concert Hall), the Hospital de Sant Pau, the Casa Lleó-Morera and the Museo de Zoología (Museum of Zoology), located in the Ciutadela Park.
Since it is a hotel, the Casa Fuster is not open to the public. Its interior has been renovated to accommodate the needs of its current business. However, its cafeteria can still be visited today. The space is decorated in a chill-out lounge style and marked by a pleasant atmosphere.
